New Day vs. Uso’s is literally the Tag Team version of Rock/Austin. 2 of the greatest to ever do it both in their prime of their careers at the same time.

They haven’t touched (aside from the 6-Man a couple months ago) since 2018. Now with New Day as royalty and Main Event Uso’s, when you said least interesting you mean most interesting. Especially with Roman and Big E clashing in Brooklyn next month. I’m wondering if they’ll make it a 6-Man.

And who else are they gonna feud with that’s “new” and “different” that’s gonna be even half way close to being as good as New Day/Uso’s? The answer is nobody, because both teams have advanced themselves past the notion of the Tag Team division.

What’s likely would be Corbin/Moss for the next contenders if New Day holds the straps, and probably Viking Raiders or Hit Row (way too early for them) if Uso’s still have it. That’s more interesting than 2 of the greatest tag teams in the history of professional wrestling rekindling their epic rivalry? You’re crazy. Stop being such a Negative Nancy just because there’s another wrestling company out there. It’s getting tiresome.

Woods shouldn’t be thrown right back into the tag mix. Let him have his own push after winning KOTR. You’re putting way more thought into the tag division than either brand has in years, that’s why they’re going with the old reliable.

Steve Austin and the Rock had a total of 10 televised singles matches (one of which lasted 22 seconds).

New Day and the Usos have had 10 tag team matches since 2018.

That’s not Austin vs. Rock. That’s a feud that has been done to death, much like WWE bragging about how EVERYTHING IS NEW and then doing the same matches and stories. Like I said: the matches will be good, but I have no interest in seeing it over and over again, AEW or no AEW.
