You know what I’ve noticed since Vince McMahon stepped away from the WWE? Every single champion is no longer booked to be invincible, so now almost all title matches have that feeling that we can see new champion(s) every time they are defended. That makes the product so much better.

Not quite sure what you mean by that as there has been far less title changes in the HHH era. They seem far too obessed with records and number of days as champion for example I sware in 2023 there were only 3 main roster title changes I believe they were the womens tag title once and the us title twice because the bloodline were booked to look so dominant. Which killed a lot of surspane in title matches that year.

I’ll give just 2 examples using the I.C. and U.S. titles since your baseline of 2023:

        – The I.C. Title is on its 6th different holder.
        – The U.S. Title is on its 9th different holder.

I agree that the company WAS obsessed with record title reigns and number of days a champion has held the title, but that seems to have (thankfully) gone out the window when Vince left. I’m not saying I don’t think any wrestler should hold the title for a long time, but for EVERY champion? Nah.
