If it makes you feel better, the CMLL Heavyweight title means even less in CMLL than it has in AEW.

But yeah, AEW has way too many titles. This has been a thing for a while with them.

With the Bucks and FTR, it feels like TK reruns a lot of the same stuff over and over. (Jack Perry/Ricochet is a recent example.)

I saw some Thekla promos this weekend and she’s incredible at them! It’s also something new and fresh. That’s the kind of thing AEW needs.

Maybe TK is just really burnt out?

Or TK really wasn’t that great in the first place.

And agreed on Thekla. She’s good at that and if she drops the lame spear, she’d be even better overall.

It’s been very clear to me for a few years that FTR and The Bucks run the tag division behind the scenes. I think that’s why The Bucks only were on Dynamite for years and why FTR was only on Collision for years. Whoever politics most, turned heel/face recently or runs out of steam first drops the belts, then the road to FTR vs The Bucks begins again. It completely stalls the tag division and I think that’s why no other teams get a sustained push or get to do anything.

Either that or AEW really thinks it’s that great of a feud. Which it kind of was for a bit, though that was a long time ago.
