You know, there was a theory I saw (and it wasn’t named Austin!) that Randy was calling Shane, and we’d get a Stephanie/Shane McMahon in the corner during the match at Wrestlemania.

I think I would’ve preferred the timeline where that happens instead of having Pat McAfee and Jelly Roll involved in this. Somehow it sounds worse than having Travis Scott involved last year.

The TKO purchase was the worse thing that’s ever happened to WWE fans. McAfee (who I like) should not be anywhere near this feud but his agent runs TKO. They learned nothing from the Travis Scott debacle.

They will do literally anything except lower the ticket prices lmao

I was looking at some of them earlier today and my goodness. It’s literally double what I used to pay for similar seats.

Been a bit since I’ve commented on any review but that Pat reveal genuinely broke my brain. You’d think they were booking on 2K universe mode with how non sensical the build was the fact that in storyline, Randy had great respect and admiration for Pat MCAFEE just……..yeah. It’s impressive how the build continues to get worse the closer we get to WrestleMania

      Glad to have you back.

And yeah…I’ve got nothing. I was genuinely confused when I saw McAfee come out there because I didn’t get the thinking. It appears that it might have been a corporate mandate, which would explain a bit, but it doesn’t make it any better.

It was, PWInsider revealed it was a TKO call given Ari is Pat’s manager & the ESPN airings of mania is to draw “lapsed fans”, sure they will tune in, sure. The biggest problem tonight showed is that it’s all about moments going viral & it’s an awful precedent going forward. It’s not feeling like mania season & it’s just about “aura”, it’s about “aura farming”, & it’s about “the moment”. Mania season this is not

        • Thomas Hall says:

Yeah there we go. In case WCW didn’t show us that corporate people getting involved in wrestling is bad, we have this.
