Oh man how bad was Wrestlemania Night One probably. Didn’t bother watching. What amazes me is you idiots paid to watch this on an app you will never use again and they bombarded you with commercials and movie trailers of movies you’ll never see. You all will never learn. The 2 most over guys in the company jerked the curtain too? I give WWE 6 months before TK…BLOW bankrupts them. Awful show tonight probably. #KhanIsOutOfTouch #TripleHIsAPuppet #SaveUsLAKnight

This was awful Rhodes versus Orton was bearable once they got rid of McAfee but the advertising got a far biggest spotlight then the show itself I felt sorry for the fans in attendance who paid thousands and thousands of Dollars to see the show where advertising for the future was more important then giving the crowd what they paid for it felt like they were rushing through the matches just so they could get more advertisements to make it worse for me I refuse to watch anything Seth Rollins is involved in so that was my WrestleMania break and it was the second longest match on the show. Before then number of the other matches broke 10 minutes this may be a hot take but I believe wrestlemania 27 was better than last night let that sink in for a bit.

Also to add, feels like these days it’s more important to book for the pop, social media trends and to make it on the latest top 10 of the week shows.

Awful main event. Cody vs Randy should have been a very simple build given their history. God knows why they shield horned Pat in there. I’ll be honest, I haven’t hated the Pat involvement till tonight because I felt like it was going to go somewhere longer term and could have been a huge angle, but to have it suddenly end like that is just weird. Now it just feels like they shoehorned Pat in there to get heat on Randy and cheers for Cody. This is twice in the last year Cody has been on the cusp of getting booed and they do something out the blue, the first been Cena’s sudden turn before Summsrslam.

Anyway, as always I’ll see how this plays out but it’s just a very meh mess at the moment. Feels like they should have just kept it simple and had an organic turn for Cody but we can’t have that.

They had to shoehorn McAfee in there because that was what the big boss of TKO wanted and because of power dynamic Hunter has to listen to him in regards to McAfee’s involvement for the match at least I think triple H did the best he could with that situation even jelly roll was pissed after he elbowed him through the table you could hear him say give these people the main event they paid for. His involvement in the match was him being reduced to him being taken out by jelly cody and randy and to everyone who keeps saying cody roads should turn heel that isn’t going to happen until oba femi is ready to take the top baby face spot from cody.

Unfortunately tonight was what I feared it would be. The biggest problem was simple. It just didn’t feel like WrestleMania. It was basically a glorified RAW with many of the matches feeling like wise. Only Gunther vs Seth felt Mania worthy & the main event was honestly a bizzaro match as Randy turned face, Cody turned heel then Randy turned back heel so uhh…yeah. Anyways hopefully this is the end of Pat for now though I’m terrified for him coming back out for tomorrow’s main event.

It was an awful show. Everything was short. No one really got to try their best. We had more ads and Mania splash screens than wrestling (I’m 100% going to hear that ESPN waiting song in my nightmares). We had tons of celeb cameos nobody asked for or wanted. Everything on this felt like a Raw level match. And I left the main not know what had just happened.

The worst part is that I don’t have any faith that things will change going forward. Why would it? They just sold 80,000+ tickets for this garbage. We’re going back to 2019 when people were dying for an alternative if future shows look like this.

AEW didn’t even lift a finger tonight and somehow scored some serious points over WWE.
