I’ve always liked Darby so I can go for him as champion.

I respect your opinion, but I have to disagre here. This title change came out of nowhere and, to me, its again another sympton of AEW having no patience, or simply not knowing how to build to a moment. The story between Darby and MJF had a lot of potential and it was a moment that I knew would eventually come, but instead of having some promos (both these guys can talk) and really build a good story they just recap what happened years ago in one episode for Allin to squash MJF at the end (Allin, who I like, but I don’t think should be squashing people, his big victories should come with a lot of struggle, he should be the underdog in my opinion). There is a lot to like in AEW, they have great matches and a lot of charismatic and talented people working there, but in my opinion the booking is a complete mess that frequently makes no sense and just leaves a bad taste. I don’t know, in my opinion this was (another) potentially good story that AEW just rushed through and it was a disapointment.

Also, speaking of bad booking, what was that Kamille match? Why? I don’t get it.

Anyway, as always, even when I don’t agree, its always nice reading your reviews man. Keep up the good work.

Oh the booking is absolutely a mess. That’s completely true most of the time.

The other thing is that it seems MJF is off to do a movie so they appear to have done this for the big hometown moment for Allin.

And much appreciated. Always glad to hear from you.
